In today’s fast pace life, everyone is busy. Business, office, work, home, personal, professional life everything demands time. With each passing day we all grow, we learn something new, new things and new people add to our lives. But somewhere at some point of time we feel something is missing. What is that something we are missing? I am very sure everybody might have felt this somewhere in their life. I call this feeling a ‘missing link’. Most of the time we keep on revolving around the same feeling for days months or years and not able to get that missing link.

Why finding your missing link is important?

In my views, if something you feel is lacking or missing, do not just let it go. At least try to see through yourself and find it. Once you’ll understand what was missing, you will automatically realize it’s importance too (otherwise you wouldn’t have felt that gap if it was not important). The point here is consciously or subconsciously we forget many things or people in our lives and also we forget their importance. This is how human nature is and also this is how life is. we keep forgetting and missing on many things and we keep on finding it and realizing it.

Importance of Missing links :

  • at Work Place: Our work place if full of different people holding different behavior, approach, style, thinking and positions. It’s very easy to lose links in your work place. If somewhere you think the equation with your Boss or coworkers has changed then rethink and try to find out that empty space. I am sure sooner or later you’ll come across something. This will help you in resolving many issues, strengthen your professional relationships, ease out the environment and gives you a clear vision about your work and performance.
  • as a Community: Being a part of Community we indulge in many activities and forget or should I say miss on many things. Giving yourself an opportunity to sit and rewind and recollect will lead you to missing connections and links. Covering up the gaps will leave you happy and more productive.
  • personal life: The most important part of our life is our own people, our family. Trust me this area needs more work. You just can not leave any gaps here, not because anyone will fire your back on this, because we do not want to miss on anything when it comes to our family. Finding missing links within the family leave us with strong family bondings, more of love and happiness.
  • Self improvement: When we work on something and we find errors and are not able to fix or find it, it leave us frustrated and demotivated. Finding where in our lives we are missing important things gives us a fair motivation which boosts our self esteem and gives us more confidence about ourself.

Keep on connecting, keep on making links but give yourself a check every now and then to see where you are missing a link.

Thank you,
